Boarman USPS Youth Poster Contest

Poster contest paints picture of boating safety

The 2006-2007 Boarman USPS National Youth Poster Contest was a huge success with an approximate 20 percent increase in participants over the previous year. A generous donation from Woody Boarman in honor of his parents allowed us to expand the program to better exhibit the artistic abilities of our future boaters.

The 2007-2008 “Boat Safely—Keep Our Waters Clean” poster contest is under way, and we anticipate even more entries to be submitted for national judging at the 2008 Governing Board Meeting in Detroit this fall. Download the announcement, rules and entry form here.

Before submitting entries for judging, each squadron and district commander should appoint someone to check the entry sheets for legibility and completeness.

The Membership Committee would like to thank the squadrons for their participation in the contest and their promotion of youth activities.
