Join us for the 2007 Annual Meeting
Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned supporter, the USPS 2007 Annual Meeting promises fun, adventure and a chance to meet fellow members from across the country. Held from 20 to 25 Feb. along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Fla., the meeting provides a wealth of opportunities for members and their families.
Our meeting hotel, the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Riverfront, is located within walking distance to Jacksonville Landing, a popular riverfront attraction with excellent shopping, entertainment and dining.

Rates run from $124 for deluxe king and queen rooms to $159 for regency and $179 for executive king and queen rooms. Group rates are good from 16 to 26 Feb., so take advantage of the savings by extending your stay in this family-friendly city.

Start your trip off right with a bus tour of Jacksonville on Wednesday, 21 Feb. The first stop will be start the day off the Maxwell House Coffee plant followed by the Peterbrooke Chocolatier and the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Thursday’s tour offers a look at Jacksonville’s past with visits to Friendship Park, the Riverwalk and other downtown sites.
If you’re not taking the tour on Thursday, sign up for a free seminar on the ins and outs of USPS protocol. Everyone is welcome.
On Friday, 23 Feb., board the tour bus for a trip to nearby historic St. Augustine. You’ll get a feel for the city’s more-than-400-year history during a tour of Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest remaining European fortification in the continental United States. Then, it’s off to St. George Street for shopping and lunch.
Don’t go hungry. Remember to buy your tickets for Saturday’s social or members luncheon.
Cap off the week by attending the Annual Meeting dinner-dance Saturday night. After a fabulous meal, you can dance the night away--a perfect end to a perfect week.
So don’t hesitate; print the Activities Reservation Form, and send in your check to schedule up some excitement today. Remember, reservations must be postmarked by 1 Feb. 2007.
